Patient Testimonials Dupuytren's Contracture Dupuytren's Contracture Several months ago I discovered a lump in the palm of my hand. I didn't know what it was. I discussed my condition with Lucy, at LightSpeed Physiotherapy. Lucy told me it was Dupuytren's Contracture. Left untreated, two fingers in my right hand would slowly curl towards the palm of my hand and I would not be able to straighten it. Eventually I would need surgery. Fortunately, Lucy told me she had treated several people with Dupuytren's Contracture with laser therapy. I checked Dupuytren's Contracture on the internet and learned that there are all sorts of extreme treatments available but no one would treat Dupuytren's in the early stages of development. I decided to give it a try. The therapy worked very well. I had nine treatments over three weeks. The lump in the palm of my hand reduced by approximately 80% and I have full range of motion in my hand again. I told my Doctor about my laser treatments. He had never heard of anyone treating Dupuytren's this way and he was very skeptical. Afterwards, my doctor was very impressed with the results. I am so grateful to the LightSpeed team. Thank you for helping me avoid surgery. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would also like to thank the staff for never making me wait for my appointment. Your consideration for my time was really appreciated. I wish everyone in the medical world ran their clinic as efficiently as yours! BG
